Job summary

Tutera Senior Living & Health Care seeks an Activities Director to plan and implement an enriching program of activities tailored to residents' social, spiritual, intellectual, emotional, educational and physical needs, aligned with each resident care plan. Qualified candidates have a Bachelor’s degree in recreation therapy or related field, state or national licensure, and prior LTC/SNF/AL/MC experience.

Qualifications

• A fire and passion for working with seniors.
• Bachelor’s degree in recreation therapy or related area. Should be licensed or registered either nationally or by the State in which practicing.
• Minimum of one year of experience as an Activities Director in a LTC/SNF/AL/MC setting.
• Two years of experience conducting social and recreational programs within the past five years, one of which must be full-time in a resident activities program in a health care setting.
• Professional image in both appearance and behavior
• Excellent written and oral communication skills

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and implement a program of activity and leisure pursuits designed to meet residents' social, spiritual, intellectual, emotional, educational and physical needs and interests in accordance with the comprehensive resident care plan.
