Job summary

The Pennant Group, Inc. is seeking an Activities Manager to lead our senior living community''s activity program.

You will plan and execute a dynamic calendar, work with staff to deliver engaging programs, and foster partnerships with local organizations to benefit residents. Ideal candidates will have a high school diploma (a degree in Recreation Therapy or Human Services preferred), experience managing teams, and CPR/First Aid certification.

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or GED; college degree preferred in Recreation Therapy or Human Services.
• Prior experience managing staff and volunteers.
• Experience in small group socialization and creative programming for older adults.
• Current CPR/First Aid certification and valid driver''s license with a clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Plans, implements and oversees the Activities program for residents.
• Creates a multi-faceted daily/monthly calendar for all care levels.
• Establishes partnerships with community organizations for joint programming.
• Provides opportunities for residents to engage in volunteer projects.
• Transports residents to activities and ensures supplies are ordered.
