Job summary

The Pennant Group, Inc. is seeking an Activities Supervisor to plan, implement, and oversee the activities program for residents.

You will create daily and monthly calendars, coordinate with staff, and promote independence and engagement among residents. Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or GED (college degree preferred in Recreation Therapy or Human Services) and CPR/First Aid certification, plus driver’s license and a clean driving record.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; college degree preferred in Recreation Therapy or Human Services.
• Two years of equivalent work experience in activities or related field preferred.
• CPR/First Aid certification required; valid driver’s license with clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Plans, implements and oversees the Activities program for residents.
• Creates a multi-faceted daily/monthly calendar suitable for all care levels.
• Promotes independence, fulfillment and resident engagement through programs.
• Establishes partnerships with community organizations for joint programming.
• Transports residents to activities and manages supplies and equipment.
