Yardley Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center in Yardley, PA is seeking an Activities Director to lead engaging programs that enhance residents' well-being. This full-time role requires planning, budgeting, and collaboration with the care team to create meaningful experiences for short- and long-term residents.

You will develop a dynamic activities calendar, build partnerships with community groups, and promote resident participation while adapting to individual interests and needs, including

Qualifikationen

• High school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred.
• Minimum of one year of supervisory experience, preferably in a skilled nursing facility or related healthcare setting.
• Experience developing, implementing, and leading activity programs for seniors is highly desirable.

Aufgaben

• Create a welcoming, engaging environment that enhances residents' quality of life.
• Lead development and implementation of recreational, social, educational, and community-based programs for residents.
• Maintain a dynamic calendar of activities and events reflecting resident and family needs.
• Build relationships with residents, families, team members, volunteers, and community partners.
• Collaborate with the Executive Director and team to partner with local schools, businesses, and organizations.
• Promote resident participation by aligning programs with interests and abilities.
• Monitor and evaluate resident participation and engagement in activities.
• Prepare and manage departmental budgets and resources.
• Complete administrative duties including documentation, reports, audits, and records.
• Support community outreach and special events highlighting resident-centered care.
