Job summary

Homewood Living Williamsport is seeking a part-time Recreation Coordinator for the day shift. The role pays $17.00–$17.60 per hour and focuses on planning and coordinating activities for independent living residents, supporting physical and social wellbeing.

You will arrange programs, trips, and events, work with volunteers, manage communications, and ensure safety and confidentiality per policy. CPR certification is required, and two years of senior-care program experience is expected.

Qualifications

• Two years' experience in planning/coordinating programs/events and working with the senior population.
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Office, to include Publisher.
• Must possess current CPR and First Aid certification.
• Ability to drive Homewood's van and have a valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Develops and coordinates recreation programs, trips, and events for residents.
• Creates and distributes newsletters, calendars, and flyers (electronic/print).
• Sets up venues, coordinates transportation, and manages decorations and refreshments.
• Assigns volunteers, leverages resident talents, and coordinates with the volunteer director.
• Maintains records of events and health observations, reports changes as needed.
• Oversees relevant technology used for activities and enrollments.
