Job summary

The Glenview at Pelican Bay in Naples, FL seeks an Activities Coordinator to deliver a dynamic program aligned with LCS Lifestyles and the 8 Dimensions of Wellness. The role focuses on hospitality-driven resident engagement and coordinating a diverse calendar of events, outings, and educational activities for full-time staff and volunteers.

Responsibilities include planning, interviewing residents for personalized plans, producing calendars, guiding volunteers, and maintaining accurate progress

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree preferable; therapy recreation specialist or 2+ years in a licensed health care recreation setting preferred.
• Must pass extensive criminal background check and drug screen.
• Vaccination status inquiries may be required (MMR, varicella, hepatitis, flu, COVID-19).

Responsibilities

• Plan and implement a varied activity program per LCS Lifestyles and wellness dimensions.
• Coordinate recreational/educational activities and outings; produce monthly calendars.
• Interview residents for personalized assessments to tailor programs.
• Coordinate Resident Council and family meetings; arrange special events.
• Direct residents' movement to recreation areas; supervise volunteers.
• Prepare reports, schedules and maintain records per regulations.
• Procure and inventory supplies; inspect equipment and ensure cleanliness.
• Document progress and resident responses to programming.
