Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred; two years in a social or recreational program in licensed health care setting is preferred.
• Experience with planning and coordinating activities and events is desirable.
• Must pass extensive background check and drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Plan and implement a varied activity program designed to meet residents' needs and interests.
• Produce monthly calendars and promotional materials.
• Interview and develop resident assessments to tailor recreational programs.
• Coordinate Resident Council and family meetings; arrange special educational opportunities.
• Direct movement of residents to activity areas and supervise volunteers.
• Maintain records and reports in compliance with regulations.
