Job summary

Riverview Health and Rehab - Jefferson in Detroit, MI is seeking an entry-level Activities Aide to join our life enrichment team. You will help plan and coordinate daily activities that engage residents and enhance well-being.

You will document attendance, support residents with warmth and respect, and work with the Activities Director to maintain high-quality programs while communicating clearly with residents, families, and staff.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1 year of related experience in senior living communities preferred.
• Ability to lead activities and motivate volunteers and team members.

Responsibilities

• Assist in maintaining resident-centered activities and life enrichment programs under supervision of the Activities Director.
• Record attendance and participation in activities in a timely basis.
• Maintain resident comfort, privacy and dignity with warmth, respect, and care.
• Demonstrate understanding of QA and essential quality service standards.
• Communicate effectively with residents, visitors, families, peers and supervisors.
