Dixon Rehabilitation & Health Care Center in Dixon, IL is seeking an Activities Assistant for a full-time temporary role that requires working every other weekend. You will support the Activities Director in planning and delivering engaging recreational programs for residents.

We value a passion for seniors, a flexible, energetic personality, and strong communication. Prior LTC/SNF/AL/MC experience and an Activities Certification are preferred.

Qualifications

• One year of activities experience in the past five years preferred.
• Prior experience in LTC/SNF/AL/MC setting preferred.
• Activities Certification preferred.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist Activities Director with assessment, selection, organization, and implementation of activities.
• Provide recreational services addressing residents' individual needs and interests.
