Job summary

Terra Bluffs is seeking an Activities Assistant to support resident engagement and day-to-day programming in Parker, CO. You will help plan and lead activities, coordinate a monthly calendar, and tailor experiences to residents’ abilities to foster participation and joy.

You will work with Life Enrichment Directors, nursing staff, and volunteers to sustain a vibrant activity program and a welcoming atmosphere for residents and guests.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Organized and dependable with a “can-do” attitude.
• Energetic, enthusiastic and comfortable engaging with individuals and groups.
• Experience in recreation, life enrichment, or senior living preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Plan and lead fun, enriching group and one-on-one activities for residents.
• Support a monthly calendar of events including games, crafts, fitness, music, outings, and special events.
• Encourage resident participation and tailor activities to meet various abilities.
• Build meaningful relationships with residents through personalized interactions and encouragement.
• Assist with transportation and supervision for outings and events.
• Help set up and clean activity spaces and maintain materials and supplies.
• Maintain attendance records, progress notes, and resident feedback.
• Collaborate with Life Enrichment Directors, nursing staff, and volunteers.
