Job summary

Mosaic Gardens at Scottsdale is seeking an energetic Activity and Event Assistant to help bring our life enrichment program to life for residents. You will plan daily activities and special events, and help foster joy, creativity, and connection.

You will collaborate with staff and families, prepare materials, escort residents to activities, and support celebrations and community outings. A high school diploma and at least 1 year of related experience are required, plus CPR certification within

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 1 year of related activity or event coordination experience.
• Knowledge of dementia care basics and activity planning.
• Strong communication, organization, and time management skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• CPR certification required within 30 days of hire.
• Experience with volunteering or community engagement programs.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning, organizing, and leading engaging daily activities and events.
• Support programs promoting physical, cognitive, social, and emotional well-being.
• Encourage resident participation and build positive relationships with residents and families.
• Prepare activity materials and maintain activity spaces.
• Escort residents to and from activities as needed.
• Document participation and contribute ideas to enhance programming.
• Support holiday celebrations, themed events, and community outings.
• Collaborate with other departments to create a vibrant community atmosphere.
