Oakmont Management Group is seeking an Activities Assistant to support the Activity Director in creating a fun, engaging social calendar for residents at Ellore Senior Living in Santa Clara. You will promote participation through events, outings, and classes while ensuring safety and a warm community atmosphere.

The role requires 18+ and a high school diploma, plus experience coordinating activities with seniors.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Prefer one year of experience coordinating or teaching activities with seniors.
• Requires current Class C license, prefer Class B or Class C with Passenger Endorsement.
• Able to operate a personal computer and be proficient in MS Office programs.
• Must pass a Criminal Background check and Health Screening tests, including physical and TB tests.
• Vaccination and screening requirements may apply per regulatory guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Activity Director in providing a rewarding social atmosphere and promote resident participation through activities, events, and classes.
• Develop, recruit, manage and schedule Community Volunteers as requested.
• Communicate effectively and display tact with residents, families, visitors, coworkers, and supervisors.
• Maintain a safe and secure environment for staff, residents, and guests following safety standards.
• Able to drive Community vehicles.
• Encourage teamwork through cooperative interactions with other departments.
