Job summary

Oakmont of El Dorado Hills is seeking an Activity Assistant to plan and lead engaging programs for residents, supporting independence and quality of life. You will work with the Activity Director and volunteers to organize events, outings, and classes, fostering a warm community.

This full-time role requires weekend work and a flexible schedule, with shifts from 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM. You should enjoy working with seniors, have strong communication, and be able to drive community vehicles.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old with a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Prefer 1 year coordinating activities with seniors.
• Requires ability to operate a personal computer and MS Office suite.

Responsibilities

• Assist in organizing, scheduling, and promoting activities and excursions.
• Develop and manage community volunteers as needed.
• Communicate effectively with residents, families, and staff.
• Maintain a safe environment following safety standards.
• Able to drive community vehicles.
• Encourage teamwork across departments.
