Oakmont of El Dorado Hills is seeking an Activity Assistant to organize, schedule, promote, facilitate, and direct activities for residents, enhancing independence and quality of life.

The role is full-time with at least one weekend day required (Saturday or Sunday), typically 9:00 AM–5:30 PM, located in El Dorado Hills, CA. The team benefits from comprehensive offerings and a supportive culture.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Prefer one (1) year of experience coordinating or teaching activities with seniors.
• Requires valid driver’s license with Passenger Endorsement (Class C/B).
• Proficient with MS Office (Word, Excel, Publisher, PowerPoint).
• Must pass Criminal Background check and Health Screening including TB tests.

Responsibilities

• Assist Activity Director in creating a vibrant social atmosphere and organize activities for residents.
• Develop, recruit, manage and schedule Community Volunteers as requested.
• Communicate effectively with residents, families, visitors, and staff.
• Maintain a safe and secure environment following safety standards.
• Able to drive Community vehicles.
• Encourage teamwork across departments.
