Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• CNA certification is a plus but not required.
• Ability to communicate effectively with residents, families, coworkers, and visitors.
• Experience in activities, recreation, senior living, healthcare, hospitality, childcare, or customer-service is helpful but not required.

Responsibilities

• Plan and lead recreational, social, physical, educational, and entertainment programs.
• Lead and adapt group activities, games, crafts, music, exercise, and celebrations.
• Spend one-on-one time with residents and provide companionship.
• Provide engaging sensory activities suitable for resident needs.
• Maintain clean, organized activity spaces and ensure supplies are available.
• Maintain accurate records of resident activity participation in the POC system.
