Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in skilled nursing facility preferred.
• CPR certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate group and individual activities for resident engagement.
• Provide one-on-one activities for residents unable to participate in group programs.
• Encourage participation and foster a welcoming, inclusive environment.
• Assist with games, crafts, music programs, events, and outings.
• Adapt activities to residents' cognitive, emotional, and physical needs.
• Collaborate with nursing staff and interdisciplinary team.
• Create and distribute monthly activity calendars.
• Maintain activity spaces in a clean, safe condition.
• Monitor safety and report equipment or maintenance needs.
