Job summary

Myrtle Beach Manor is seeking an Assistant Program and Outreach Director (Activities Assistant) to join their team, supporting resident-centered activities aligned with the Phoenix Senior Living philosophy to promote wellness across all life aspects.

The Assistant Program and Outreach Director supports day-to-day delivery of activities, coordinates with care staff and volunteers, maintains activity areas, and helps with animal and plant care as part of an engaging senior living program.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required; job-related experience in senior living preferred.
• Ability to lead activities and motivate volunteers and associates.
• Knowledge of Assisted Living industry and dementia care preferred.

Responsibilities

• Refer to the Resident Profile and addendum for every new resident.
• Facilitate a variety of personalized activities across all dimensions of wellness with resident care associate participation.
• Assist residents to and from activity rooms as needed.
• In memory care assist residents to and from Life Skills and other activities and assist with engagement.
• Review communications logs to document resident information and any physical/behavioral changes.
• Maintain activity areas in an orderly manner and inventory of supplies.
