Job summary

The Bristal Assisted Living is seeking a creative, compassionate Lifestyle Coordinator to assist in presenting and coordinating recreational programs for our residents, including those with Alzheimer’s or dementia in Reflections Memory Care Neighborhood. You will help plan fun and safe trips to suitable destinations, such as art galleries, theaters, music venues and cultural events.

You will also assist with preparing calendars, newsletters and memos, and participate in activities in the absence

Qualifications

One year’s prior experience working with a senior population.
At least 6 months of Recreation activity experience or event leadership.
Be outgoing, warm and have a genuine caring personality.
Ability to create engaging programs and supervise activities.

Responsibilities

Present and coordinate recreational programs for residents and Reflections Memory Care.
Plan fun and safe trips to suitable destinations for residents.
Prepare, print and distribute calendars, newsletters and memos.
Assist in the absence of the Director of Recreation and maintain resident background knowledge.
Encourage resident engagement and participation with a positive attitude.
