Job summary

Traditions at West Park Place in Avon, IN is seeking an Activities Assistant to bring creativity and connection to residents through engaging programs. You will plan, schedule, and promote activities, while coordinating with staff and vendors to ensure events run smoothly and within budget.

The role requires strong organizational and interpersonal skills, plus basic computer literacy to manage records and surveys. CPR/First Aid knowledge is a plus for participant safety.

Responsibilities

• Brainstorming ideas for activities
• Creating schedules that detail the activities by day, week and month
• Advertising activities that are open to the public
• Attending or leading activities to ensure events run smoothly
• Adhering to budgetary guidelines when planning activities
• Working with vendors to provide food, music, supplies and services for activities
• Soliciting feedback from participants to identify what worked well and what could improve
• Keeping detailed records of activities to track participation, costs and other metrics
