Job summary

Watercrest Spanish Springs in Lady Lake, FL seeks an AL and MC Activities Assistant to support daily resident engagement through outings and planned programs. This part-time role focuses on movement, interaction, and wellbeing, delivered with warmth and care.

You will help plan the Community Program calendar, assist with supplies, and maintain safety and quality in activities, contributing to a vibrant living environment for residents.

Qualifications

• High School Graduate or equivalent.
• Experience in senior living preferred.
• Ability to communicate warmly and effectively with residents and families.

Responsibilities

• Attends outings with residents.
• Participates in celebrating resident events and accomplishments.
• Engages residents in activities across intellectual, cognitive, physical, spiritual, social, recreational, and cultural domains.
• Assists with developing the Community Program calendar and newsletter.
• Assists in ordering supplies for programs.
• Maintains ongoing quality assurance for the Community Program department.
• Ensures equipment and supplies meet cleaning and safety standards.
• Attends educational classes and orientation as scheduled.
• Responds promptly to requests from residents, families and guests.
• Wears company uniform and remains resident-ready at all times.
