Job summary

Erickson Senior Living’s Eagle’s Trace in West Houston, TX is seeking a Program Assistant to enhance residents’ wellbeing through diverse activities. You will work with the Programming team to tailor therapeutic and recreational programs for seniors in a continuing care community.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience working with the geriatric population or related fields.
• Experience as an Activities Assistant in a licensed health care facility preferred.
• Experience leading groups with varying physical and cognitive abilities preferred.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate structured and impromptu programs for residents.
• Escort residents on group trips while ensuring safety.
• Collaborate with team members and volunteers to deliver engaging activities.
• Monitor changes in residents’ needs and report to the Programming Manager.
• Lead and set up group and individual activities.
