Eagle's Trace by Erickson Senior Living in West Houston, TX seeks a Program Assistant to enhance resident well‑being through tailored activities. You’ll work with the Programming team to design therapeutic and recreational programs for residents’ physical, intellectual, social, spiritual, and emotional needs.

Starting at $14/hour, the role requires a flexible schedule, including weekends and evenings, with opportunities for growth and education support through the organization.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of experience working with the geriatric population or in related fields.
• Experience as an Activities Assistant in a licensed health care facility preferred.
• Experience leading groups with varying physical and cognitive abilities preferred.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate structured and impromptu programs for residents in common areas and rooms.
• Escort residents on group trips and excursions, ensuring safety.
• Collaborate with team members, management and volunteers to deliver engaging programs.
• Monitor and report changes in residents' needs and preferences to the Programming Manager.
• Manage program supplies and equipment, ensuring functionality and safety.
• Lead and set up group and individual activities, motivating participants.
