Benchmark Senior Living is seeking a Programming/Activity Assistant to support residents with engaging activities seven days a week. Responsibilities include leading groups, coordinating events, and tailoring programs to individual needs.

A high school diploma and dementia training are required. The role focuses on promoting well-being through cognitive, physical, social, and emotional activities, with supervision by the Activity Director.

Qualifications

• Requires training in recreational activities and Alzheimer’s/dementia knowledge.
• Maintains a high level of confidentiality regarding residents, staff, and community.
• Demonstrates ability to coordinate multiple tasks under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Develops and implements a seven-day activity program.
• Leads one-on-one, small group and large group activities.
• Encourages resident participation and communicates changes to the Director.
