Job summary

Legends Global Denver is seeking a Production Manager to coordinate, organize and manage events for the DPAC Arts & Venues facility. You will oversee daily event activities, stagehands payroll, scheduling and venue production maintenance.

The role requires a Baccalaureate degree and five years of supervisory experience; you will work with promoters, clients, and departments to ensure efficient operations and adherence to union agreements; compensation ranges $72,000–$76,000 with full benefits.

Qualifications

• Baccalaureate degree required.
• Five years’ management / supervisory experience required.
• Performance/Production / back-of-house operations background preferred.
• Familiarity with union labor environment / CBA implementation.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality of information.
• Demonstrate excellent communication (verbal and written) and inter-personal skills among all levels of staff and clientele.
• Ability to speak, understand, and read standard English.
• Work effectively with diverse groups of people among all levels within an organization; skill to work effectively as part of a team.
• Perform leadership role and job tasks effectively despite sudden deadlines and changing priorities.
• Excellent problem solving and organizational skills.
• Ability to work from drawings, specifications and oral requests to achieve desired service/product.
• Provide customer service in a professional considerate manner.
• Excellent record of dependability and reliability.
• Customer Service experience.
• Excellent computer skills and understanding of all Microsoft suite products and applications including ability to create word documents and excel spreadsheets.

Responsibilities

• Coordinat​e and manage events as assigned.
• Oversee daily event activities and stagehand payroll.
• Schedule staff and supervise crew.
• Coordinate information with venue operations, security, FOH, and catering.
• Advance events with promoters and managers; generate labor calls.
• Review contracts for space rental and charges; ensure accuracy.
• Conduct site visits and provide facility cost information.
• Ensure efficient and economical event operations in the venue.
• Verify all setups prior to each event.
• Assist with safety programs and HR concerns as needed.
