Job summary

Bayline Productions, a live event production company serving technology clients in the San Francisco Bay Area, seeks a Freelance Lead Producer / Technical Director on-site to oversee end-to-end workflow for live and hybrid events.

You will lead pre-production, show design, cue calling, camera switching, graphics playback, and supervise audio and lighting teams, coordinating with clients and internal crews to deliver safe, reliable, high-quality experiences.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in live event production and technical direction.
• Ability to lead on-site production crews and coordinate with clients and stakeholders.
• Experience planning and executing hybrid events using platforms like Zoom, Teams, YouTube, or similar.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical direction during live, multi-camera shows; call cues and switch cameras.
• Manage graphics and playback; supervise audio and lighting teams to ensure cohesive production.
• Conduct site visits, develop run-of-show documents, organize equipment needs, and oversee load-in, setup, show execution, and strike.
• Collaborate with client stakeholders and troubleshoot technical issues in real time to maintain safety and reliability.
