Job summary

AGG Legal Staffing is seeking a senior paralegal with a minimum of 10 years’ experience in complex litigation and trial support to join its team on highly complex cases in Los Angeles, CA.

Preference will be given to candidates with strong eDiscovery skills and advanced certifications (CP, CCP, RP, or CEDS). The role requires coordinating with external vendors and internal teams to manage production data and trial materials.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 10 years’ experience as a complex litigation paralegal.
• Experience supporting mass tort, class action, and MDL matters.
• Strong knowledge of civil litigation procedural rules for state, federal, and appellate courts.
• Case management experience including tracking discovery and trial deadlines, subpoenas, and data management.
• Proactively manage production data and maintain production logs/summaries.
• Perform searches in Relativity and prepare deposition exhibits; load transcripts.
• Conduct legal research using Westlaw and Lexis to verify sources.
• ABA-approved Paralegal certificate or attorney declaration (B&P Code 6450).

Responsibilities

• Support trial attorneys with management of complex litigation cases and large data volumes.
• Maintain and update case files: pleadings, discovery, productions, and exhibits.
• Monitor discovery and trial deadlines; communicate plans with the team.
• Coordinate with clients, witnesses, experts, co-counsel, opposing counsel, and court staff.
• Perform legal research using Westlaw and Lexis; prepare appendices and authorities.
• Prepare and proofread pleadings, briefs, and affidavits; cite-check as needed.
• Organize deposition/hearing transcripts in Case Notebook or Relativity.
• Assist with trial preparation, exhibits, and courtroom technology on-site.
