The position offers a hybrid or mostly remote schedule, with primary offices in California. Candidates should have 7+ years of experience, a paralegal credential, and strong Google Workspace skills

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience as a litigation paralegal is required.
• A college degree and/or paralegal certificate is required.
• Proficiency with Google Workspace (Drive, Sheets, Docs, and related tools) is required.
• Stellar project management and organizational skills.
• Great attention to detail and ability to multitask.
• Good judgment, intuition and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist with gathering and compiling support documents for filings
• Assist attorneys with preparing and filing pleadings and other court documents in various jurisdictions across state and federal courts, including appellate courts
• Assist with Bluebook formatting, cite-checking, and shepardizing case law
• Familiarity with civil procedures and local, state and federal court rules
• Ability to perform docket and legal research in Lexis, Westlaw, SEC, PACER, and similar resources
• Assist with the collection, review, production, and organization of discovery materials
• Proficiency with eDiscovery platforms (e.g., Relativity), and ability to supervise vendor work
• Ability to use AI-assisted technologies appropriately and responsibly and ability to adapt to AI-assisted workflows
• Manage discovery responses, subpoenas, and deposition preparation
• Prepare and maintain various indices and logs for case teams related to discovery and other chronologies
• Manage case calendars and deadlines (as a supplement to the calendar department)
• Assist with hearing/trial preparation and logistics, including preparation of witness files, management of exhibits, setting up trial space, and attending trial in-person, as required
• Interacting with clients, expert witnesses, consultants, opposing counsel and court clerks
