Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required with preferred ABA-accredited paralegal certification.
• 5–10 years of litigation experience in an insurance defense or related practice.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office; advancedExcel a plus.
• Experience using court docket databases (PACER, LexisNexis, Westlaw).
• Familiarity with e-discovery and trial software (NextPoint, Relativity).

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive administrative support to multiple attorneys and partners.
• Assist with discovery, pleadings, and motions preparation.
• Draft and update client reports.
• Organize, review, summarize, and draft documents.
• Conduct basic research on court rules and litigation trends.
• Manage requests for medical records and coordinate with physicians.
• Analyze medical records and prepare summaries.
• Perform electronic filing in federal and state courts.
• Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and court clerks.
• Assist with all aspects of trial preparation.
