Brown Sims PC, based in South Florida, seeks a litigation paralegal to support complex insurance defense and civil matters in state and federal courts. The role emphasizes calendar management, evidence preparation, and document production workflows.

The candidate will draft and file pleadings, coordinate with clients and vendors, and assist attorneys with discovery, depositions, and trial prep in a collaborative office environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of litigation paralegal experience in Florida state and federal courts.
• Strong knowledge of state and federal procedures and discovery.
• Experience reviewing and summarizing medical records and documents.
• Ability to calendar deadlines and manage active dockets with minimal supervision.
• Proficiency with e-filing portals and electronic service.

Responsabilités

• Review orders, pleadings, discovery, and deadlines; calendar and monitor deadlines.
• Prepare filing documents; e-file and serve through Florida E-Filing Portal and CM/ECF.
• Draft interrogatories, requests for production, requests for admission, and responses.
• Prepare disclosures and responses; coordinate with clients to obtain information.
• Review and summarize medical records and case documents for attorneys.
• Assist with deposition prep, witness files, and trial support.
