Naviga Recruiting & Executive Search is seeking a Litigation Paralegal to support an expanding trial team in Tampa, Florida. The candidate will manage complex files from intake through trial, coordinating with attorneys, experts, and witnesses, and handling discovery, motions, and billable time.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree or Paralegal Certificate and a minimum of 3 years in insurance defense litigation, with strong knowledge of Florida and Federal Rules of Civil Procedure and proven

• Bachelor’s degree, Paralegal Certificate, or equivalent field experience.
• Minimum of 3 years of litigation paralegal experience in insurance defense.
• Experience handling cases through all phases of litigation up to trial.
• In-depth knowledge of Florida and Federal Rules of Civil Procedure.
• Proficient with legal research tools, document management, and time-entry systems.
• Bilingual English/Spanish is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Manage complex litigation files from intake through trial preparation.

• Perform targeted legal research using case law, statutes, public records, and legal databases.

This critical role manages complex litigation files from inception through trial, taking ownership of comprehensive medical record reviews, expert witness coordination, legal research, discovery responses, and court filings. What You Will Do

• In-depth knowledge of Florida and Federal Rules of Civil Procedure.
• Demonstrated proficiency with legal research tools, document management, and time-entry systems.
• Bilingual skills (English/Spanish) are advantageous.
