Job summary

Troutman Pepper Locke LLP is seeking a seasoned litigation paralegal to support complex matters in a fast-paced environment. The role involves researching legal sources, analyzing case law and statutes, and running PACER reports to support attorneys.

You will assist with deposition preparation, trial materials, and maintain large matter files. Strong document management, Bates stamping, and MS Office proficiency are essential. ABA certification is preferred and a Bachelor's degree is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree.
• Minimum of eight (8) years of experience as a litigation paralegal.
• Certificate from an ABA-approved paralegal program preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct research in online legal resource platforms (Westlaw, LexisNexis).
• Analyze and summarize legal sources (case law, statutes, codes, journals).
• Research and run reports in PACER and other court platforms.
• Assist with e-discovery, loading transcripts, coding documents.
• Assist with deposition preparation and notebooks.
• Organize large matter files and manage document storage.
• Collect, organize, and Bates stamp documents for production.
• Review documents in large productions and categorize by subject matter.
• Assist with trial prep including exhibits and war room logistics.
• Retrieve public records from online resources or government sources.
• Summarize depositions or other legal documents as needed.
• Draft and prepare legal documents relevant to practice area.
• Perform paralegal duties under group leader.
