Adams- in Downtown San Diego is seeking an experienced Temporary Litigation Paralegal / Legal Assistant to support its growing litigation practice. This role blends substantive paralegal work with legal administrative support in a fast-paced environment.

Fully on-site in Downtown San Diego, you will prepare pleadings, manage electronic filings (OneLegal), maintain attorney calendars, and assist through all phases of litigation, ensuring accurate documents and timely deadlines.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of litigation paralegal or legal assistant experience.
• Strong electronic filing experience, preferably with OneLegal.
• Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Word.
• Experience preparing pleadings, motions, and discovery documents.
• Excellent organizational and deadline-management skills.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, format, file, and serve pleadings, motions, discovery, and other legal documents
• Manage state and federal court filings, including e-filing through OneLegal
• Maintain attorney calendars and monitor litigation deadlines
• Assist attorneys through all phases of litigation, from case inception through resolution
• Draft, revise, proofread, and format legal documents using Microsoft Word
• Coordinate service of process and court filings
• Provide backup legal secretary and administrative support as needed
• Communicate professionally with attorneys, clients, court personnel, and opposing counsel
