Job summary

Moore & Van Allen PLLC, a dynamic and fast-growing full-service law firm in Charlotte, NC, seeks an experienced Litigation Paralegal to join its team. The role involves supporting discovery, eDiscovery, document review, and pleadings under attorney supervision.

The ideal candidate has 7+ years of litigation experience, familiarity with Relativity and MS Office, strong attention to detail, and excellent client service skills. Regular in-person attendance is required in Charlotte, NC.

Qualifications

• Minimum 7+ years of demonstrated experience in the Litigation practice area.
• Experience with large and complex cases and/or government investigations is preferred.
• Proficiency with MS Office Suite, litigation and e-discovery platforms (e.g., Relativity) and case management software.

Responsibilities

• Assist in all aspects of discovery and eDiscovery, including document management and review, document production, written discovery and depositions.
• Cite-check legal memoranda.
• Research case filings, public records, and background information.
• Draft, review, and proof correspondence and legal documents such as motions and affidavits.
• File documents in federal and state courts, electronically and in hard copy.
• Assist with preparation for hearings, arbitrations and trials as needed.
• Mentor junior and mid-level paralegals.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
