The Newark, NJ office of Lewis Brisbois, a full-service AmLaw 100 firm, is seeking a paralegal with litigation experience. Responsibilities include calendaring, document management, and supporting discovery, pleadings, motions, depositions, and trial preparation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or Paralegal Certificate; a certificate may be required based on region, state, or client requirements.
• At least five (5) years of litigation work experience
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Word)
• Strong Excel skills required
• Strong organizational, written & verbal communication skills
• Ability to work under tight deadlines and prioritize responsibilities
• This position has an annual billable requirement of 1,600 hours

Responsibilities

• Compiling information for discovery responses, interrogatories, pleadings, motions, depositions, and trial preparation.
• Calendaring and document management for litigation matters.
• Billing knowledge is required and relevant to the role.
