The role supports attorneys through all phases of litigation, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and compliance with court rules and deadlines.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as a litigation paralegal in a Florida law firm.
• Experience with Florida commercial auto insurance defense.
• Strong drafting and proofreading skills with exceptional attention to detail.
• Proficiency in legal case management software and accurate data entry.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills with the ability to handle multiple cases simultaneously.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a professional demeanor.

Responsibilities

• Support attorneys in all stages of litigation, including trial, hearings, depositions, and mediations.
• Organize, maintain, and manage electronic and physical case files from inception through resolution.
• Draft, review, and proofread pleadings, motions, discovery requests, and correspondence.
• Conduct legal and factual research as needed to support case strategy.
• Coordinate discovery, including preparing responses, managing document production, and tracking deadlines.
• Communicate with clients, insurance carriers, witnesses, experts, and opposing counsel to obtain and exchange case-related information.
• Monitor and ensure compliance with Florida court rules, procedural requirements, and litigation deadlines.
• Assist with case management and administrative tasks related to active litigation matters.
