Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience as a litigation paralegal in a Florida law firm.
• Experience with Florida auto insurance defense preferred.
• Strong drafting and proofreading skills with excellent attention to detail.
• Proficiency in legal case management software and accurate data entry.
• Excellent organizational and time-management abilities with the capacity to handle multiple matters.

Responsibilities

• Support attorneys in all stages of litigation, including trials, hearings, depositions, and mediations.
• Organize and maintain electronic and physical case files from inception through resolution.
• Draft, review, and proofread pleadings, motions, discovery requests, and correspondence.
• Conduct legal and factual research to support case strategy.
• Coordinate discovery, including preparing responses, managing document production, and tracking deadlines.
• Communicate with clients, insurance carriers, witnesses, experts, and opposing counsel to exchange case information.
• Monitor compliance with Florida court rules, procedures, and deadlines.
• Assist with case management and administrative tasks related to active litigation matters.
