Gibson Dunn, a leading global law firm based in Washington, DC, is seeking a Senior Litigation Paralegal to support attorneys through all phases of litigation, including case management, filings, discovery, and trial preparation. The role emphasizes attention to detail, initiative, and excellent communication skills.

The role reports to the Manager, Paralegal Services and requires 8–10 years in a major law firm.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred, or an equivalent combination of education and paralegal experience.
• Minimum 8–10 years of relevant experience in an AmLaw 100 law firm.
• Experience with internal and government investigations is a plus.
• Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Adobe, Google Workspace and Google Docs/Sheets.
• Proficiency in LexisNexis and Westlaw; familiarity with iManage.
• Experience with eDiscovery databases and AI tools (e.g., Relativity, Opus 2, CaseMap, Claude, Harvey, ChatGPT, CoCounsel, Gemini).

Responsibilities

• Perform litigation case management, including file management, discovery, and trial activities.
• Assist attorneys with complex matters, ensuring deadlines and milestones are met.
• Support AI-enabled workflows and interface with client representatives to implement them.
• Update client document management systems and produce detailed case reports.
• Draft court filings and prepare for deposition, hearings, and trial.
• Coordinate with external vendors and manage calendars and local rules research.
