Job summary

Active Consulting Services LLC is seeking an experienced Litigation Paralegal to support attorneys handling a diverse civil litigation caseload. This role emphasizes discovery, e-discovery, trial preparation, deposition support, document management, and litigation case management.

The candidate should have 5+ years of litigation paralegal experience, a bachelor’s degree or ABA-approved certificate, and strong knowledge of civil procedures and court filings.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of litigation paralegal experience in a medium to large civil litigation practice.
• Bachelor’s degree and/or ABA-approved Paralegal Certificate preferred.
• Strong knowledge of civil litigation procedures, legal terminology, discovery, and court filings.
• Experience with e-discovery software; DISCO experience is a plus.
• Experience with document management systems, preferably iManage.
• Strong legal research, organization, project management, time management, and communication skills.
• Excellent attention to detail, judgment, professionalism, and ability to manage deadlines.
• Minimum 1,200 annual billable hours.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and respond to discovery requests, subpoenas, and litigation documents.
• Manage, organize, analyze, and prepare documents for document production and e-discovery.
• Support attorneys with depositions, including exhibits and deposition transcript summaries.
• Assist with trial preparation, hearings, court filings, and Judicial Council forms.
• Communicate with attorneys, clients, vendors, courts, and other third parties.

About the Role

Mandatory Requirements
