You will manage complex matters from inception through trial, draft and file pleadings, coordinate court filings, organize case files, and support attorneys with trial prep and research. Strong organizational skills and 5+ years of paralegal experience are expected.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of litigation paralegal experience required; 8+ years preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of state and federal court rules, procedures, calendaring, and e-filing.
  • Experience handling complex litigation matters and discovery processes.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • High level of professionalism, integrity, and discretion with confidential information.

Responsibilities

Job description

Adams & Martin Group is seeking a Senior Litigation Paralegal to join a growing litigation practice in the Minneapolis area. This is a direct hire opportunity with a hybrid and flexible work model.

The Senior Litigation Paralegal's responsibilities include:

  • Managing complex litigation matters from inception through trial.
  • Preparing, organizing, and maintaining case files and litigation documents.
  • Drafting and filing pleadings, motions, and other legal documents.
  • Coordinating and managing state and federal court filings.
  • Maintaining litigation calendars and tracking critical deadlines.
  • Assisting attorneys with trial preparation and trial support.
  • Conducting legal and factual research as needed.
  • Communicating with clients, opposing counsel, court personnel, and third-party vendors.
  • Utilizing legal technology and AI tools to support document review, research, and case management.
  • Performing additional litigation support duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of litigation paralegal experience required; 8+ years preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of state and federal court rules, procedures, calendaring, and e-filing.
  • Experience handling complex litigation matters and discovery processes.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • High level of professionalism, integrity, and discretion with confidential information.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Acrobat Pro.
  • Experience working with matters in multiple jurisdictions is preferred.
  • Ability to learn new software and technology platforms quickly.
