Qualifications

• 6+ years of litigation support experience.
• Background as a legal assistant, litigation paralegal, or legal specialist.
• Strong document formatting and proofreading skills.
• Exceptional typing speed and accuracy.
• Experience supporting senior attorneys.
• Professional client‑facing communication skills.
• Strong understanding of court procedures and legal terminology.
• Ability to work independently and exercise sound judgment.

Responsibilities

• Support a senior attorney across litigation, bankruptcy, and transactional matters
• Manage calendars, deadlines, filings, and meeting logistics
• Prepare, proofread, and finalize legal documents
• Draft correspondence, contracts, pleadings, and corporate materials
• Coordinate court filings and service of documents
• Track litigation deadlines and court requirements
• Assist with discovery, depositions, hearings, mediations, and trial preparation
• Communicate with courts, clients, and outside parties
• Transcribe attorney handwritten notes and revisions into professional legal documents
• Prioritize competing deadlines and manage workflow independently
