FIS seeks an experienced Senior Litigation Counsel to lead complex commercial litigation and strategic dispute resolution in a global financial services setting. You will partner with executives, manage outside counsel, and shape litigation strategy across technology, software, IP, and enterprise matters.

You will work with engineers, product teams, and business leaders to translate technical issues into effective legal strategies, ensuring risk is managed and business objectives are protected.

Formación

• Juris Doctor or equivalent and admission to practice law in at least one relevant U.S. jurisdiction.
• Eight+ years of legal experience with substantial focus on complex commercial litigation and dispute resolution.
• Experience directing outside counsel and managing litigation strategy, budgets, discovery, and outcomes.
• Ability to analyze complex legal/factual issues and provide practical advice to executives.

Responsabilidades

• Manage a complex docket of commercial litigation, arbitration, pre-litigation disputes, and other contested matters in the U.S. and internationally as appropriate.
• Develop and execute litigation strategies aligned with legal, business, financial, and reputational objectives.
• Advise executives on risk assessment, dispute resolution, and strategic alternatives.
• Manage disputes involving contracts, technology and software services, financial products, and enterprise matters.
• Conduct early case assessments and provide recommendations on claims, defenses, exposure, and strategy.
• Identify opportunities to resolve disputes efficiently while preserving strategic interests.
• Provide strategic advice on IP and technology litigation including patents, trade secrets, copyrights, and trademarks.
