Job summary

Motive is seeking an experienced Associate General Counsel, Litigation to lead litigation strategy at the intersection of technology, the law, and Motive’s business objectives. This high-impact role will partner closely with internal stakeholders across Product, Engineering, Sales, Security, and Finance.

You’ll develop and drive Motive’s litigation strategy, manage and develop the litigation team, lead outside counsel, and stay ahead of industry developments that affect the business.

Qualifications

• US-licensed attorney with 10+ years of relevant litigation experience
• Experience leading IP, trade secret, marketing, Lanham, and competitor-related disputes
• Significant trial experience including dispositive motions, witness examination and argument
• Experience managing outside counsel, litigation budgets, and cross-functional internal teams

Responsibilities

• Develop and drive Motive’s litigation strategy across the company
• Lead and develop the litigation team and operating model
• Oversee outside counsel selection, strategy, staffing, and budgets
• Stay current on industry developments to anticipate legal risk and opportunities
• Collaborate with Product, Engineering, Sales, Security, and Finance to align litigation with business objectives
