Job summary

Mayer Brown is actively seeking an Advisor: Technology Innovation in New York or Washington, D.C. to advance our litigation technology initiatives.

You will design AI-driven workflows, configure GenAI tools, and collaborate with Knowledge Counsel, Legal Process Management, and partners to deliver practice-specific innovations. The role requires demonstrated experience in building AI workflows within legal platforms and a proven ability to translate legal practice needs into operational solutions

Qualifications

• JD or Master’s degree; however, a Bachelor’s degree with relevant experience will also be considered.
• 2+ years’ experience working in a legal environment either in a law firm or a legal department or a legal tech solution provider.
• Process improvement certification (e.g., Lean Six Sigma) is a strong plus.

Responsibilities

• Understand Needs & Opportunities: map and evaluate current processes across the litigation lifecycle to identify where process improvement and technology can deliver greater value.
• Design, Build & Validate AI Workflows: build, configure, and test the litigation workflows and automations inside GenAI platforms such as Harvey.
• Shape and Prioritize Initiatives: support idea intake, evaluate, score, and prioritize ideas with IT and business services.
