The incumbent will direct strategy, supervise staff, coordinate with internal stakeholders, and ensure compliance with RMIS reporting and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Insurance or related field.
• Five years of related experience in insurance claims adjusting or litigation management.
• Texas Department of Insurance Casualty License.
• Ability to work irregular hours and short notice.
• Proficient with PC and RMIS; MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Reviews and evaluates claim files for liability exposure.
• Directs attorney involvement early to develop a defense or resolution strategy.
• Performs on-site investigations to gather information needed for liability determination.
• Evaluates expenses and analyzes lawsuits to develop settlement frameworks.
• Attends mediations, trials and depositions as DART’s representative.
