Jobot in San Diego seeks a Senior Litigation Attorney to join our Wildfire Litigation team. You will handle all phases of complex civil litigation from pleadings to trial, focusing on wildfire-related matters and collaborating with experts and clients to develop effective strategies.

The ideal candidate has 7+ years in civil litigation, is admitted to the California State Bar, and can manage multiple matters with precision while delivering exceptional client service and advocacy.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from ABA-accredited law school.
• Active California State Bar in good standing.

Responsibilities

• Handle all phases of complex civil litigation, including pleadings, discovery, motion practice, depositions, and trial preparation.
• Assist in developing and executing legal strategies for wildfire and other complex litigation matters including investigating cause and working closely with experts throughout the litigation process.
• Conduct legal research and draft high-quality briefs, motions, and memoranda.
• Possess the skill and experience to operate independently in trials, hearings, mediations, and settlement conferences.
• Work closely and collaboratively with all team members in developing strategy, executing strategy, and delivering excellent client service.
• Maintain strong communication with clients and ensure timely updates on case developments.

Salary: $175,000 - $225,000 per year

• Ability to manage multiple matters and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
