The role involves depositions, hearings, drafting pleadings, discovery, and client communications, with a hybrid work model and a competitive compensation package including performance bonuses.

Qualifications

• J.D. required with strong academic credentials.
• Experience in property damage and/or construction defense is preferred.
• Excellent writing and communication abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple matters and prioritize work.

Responsibilities

• Manage a caseload of 20-25 matters.
• Take depositions, attend hearings and mediations as required.
• Draft and submit pleadings, motions and briefs.
• Prepare correspondence to colleagues and clients.
• Conduct legal research using major research platforms.
• Draft discovery requests and responses.
• Review documents for production and analysis.
• Investigate claims and plan case strategies.
• Report to insurance carrier clients and insureds.
• Prepare cases for trial/mediation and participate in proceedings.
