Qualifications

• Admitted to Massachusetts and at least one other New England state bar.
• J.D. earned in 2019 or earlier with strong academic credentials.
• Litigation experience with deposition practice and trial exposure.

Responsibilities

• Manage a caseload of 25-30 matters.
• Take and defend depositions.
• Attend court hearings and mediations.
• Draft pleadings, motions and briefs.
• Prepare correspondence to colleagues and clients.
• Conduct complex legal research using Westlaw/Lexis/Nexis.
• Draft discovery requests and responses.
• Review documents for production and strategy.
• Investigate claims and develop case handling strategies.
• Report to insurance carrier clients and insureds.
• Handle all litigation stages from initial pleadings to trial or mediation.
• Supervise associates and paralegals.
