Job summary

Confidential Employer in Reno, Nevada, is seeking an experienced litigation attorney to manage complex matters from inception through trial, with meaningful client interaction and significant courtroom exposure.

Candidates must be licensed to practice law in Nevada and have 4+ years of litigation experience; experience in defense litigation, medical malpractice, healthcare law, or insurance defense is strongly preferred.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of litigation experience with defense litigation preferred.
• Licensed to practice law in Nevada.
• Strong knowledge of state and federal procedures.

Responsibilities

• Manage complex litigation matters from inception through trial.
• Develop litigation strategy and advise clients throughout all phases.
• Draft pleadings, motions, discovery, memos, and settlements.
• Conduct and defend depositions, mediations, hearings, arbitrations, and trials.
• Provide strategic legal analysis and case evaluations.
• Mentor and collaborate with junior attorneys and staff.
• Maintain strong client relationships and support business development.
• Deliver outstanding client service across multiple active matters.

Skills

4+ years of litigation experience

Active Nevada State Bar member

Excellent legal writing & advocacy

Client relationship management

Education

Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
