Job summary

TalentBridge is partnering with a nationally recognized law firm to identify a Senior Litigation Attorney for its Seattle practice. You will take the lead on complex property insurance disputes and other sophisticated civil matters, developing strategies and guiding cases from evaluation to resolution.

You will advocate in depositions, hearings, settlements, mediations, and trials, while mentoring junior attorneys and contributing to business development.

Qualifications

• JD required and WA Bar in good standing.
• Significant litigation experience with minimal supervision.
• First-party property insurance litigation experience preferred.
• Background in commercial litigation, construction disputes, insurance litigation, or complex civil matters welcomed.
• Strong writing, analytical thinking, and client communication.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex property insurance disputes and other sophisticated civil litigation matters.
• Develop and execute legal strategies; manage cases from evaluation through resolution.
• Advocate for clients in depositions, hearings, settlements, mediations, and trials.
• Prepare persuasive motions and substantive filings.

What You'll Be Doing

• Take the lead on complex property insurance disputes and other sophisticated civil litigation matters.

• Develop and execute legal strategies while managing cases from initial evaluation through resolution.

• Advocate for clients through depositions, hearings, settlement negotiations, mediations, and trial proceedings.

• Prepare persuasive legal arguments, motions, and other substantive filings.

• Build lasting client relationships through responsive communication and strategic legal guidance.

• Collaborate with experienced legal professionals while contributing to the growth of the Seattle practice.

• Help strengthen the firm's presence in the Pacific Northwest through professional relationships and business development.

• Serve as a mentor and resource to other attorneys as the team expands.

What We’re Looking For

• Juris Doctor (JD) and an active Washington State Bar license in good standing.

• Significant experience handling litigation matters with minimal supervision.

• First-party property insurance litigation experience is highly preferred.

• Attorneys with strong backgrounds in commercial litigation, construction disputes, insurance litigation, or complex civil matters will also be considered.

• Demonstrated success with depositions, discovery, motion practice, negotiations, and trial preparation.

• Exceptional legal writing, analytical thinking, and client communication skills.

• A proactive, entrepreneurial mindset and an interest in contributing to the growth of an established practice.

Additional strengths we’d love to see: Established professional relationships in the Pacific Northwest, business development experience, a portable book of business, or demonstrated leadership capabilities. These are advantages, not requirements.
