Job summary

Orion Placement seeks an experienced litigator to join a highly respected, collaborative team handling sophisticated commercial matters in Seattle. The role offers a hybrid schedule after onboarding and a strong benefits package with mentorship and career development.

You will handle complex litigation, draft key documents, manage discovery, assist with trial prep, and collaborate closely with colleagues while maintaining client relationships and professional standards.

Qualifications

• Licensed to practice law in Washington state.
• 2+ years of civil litigation experience required.
• Strong legal research, writing and analytical abilities.
• Experience drafting pleadings, motions and discovery documents.
• Excellent communication and client relation skills.
• Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail.
• Team-oriented with ability to manage matters independently.

Responsibilities

• Handle complex commercial litigation, product liability, environmental and insurance coverage matters.
• Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, contracts and related legal documents.
• Research and analyze complex legal issues.
• Manage all phases of discovery, including e-discovery and large productions.
• Assist with trial preparation and provide courtroom support.
• Conduct due diligence on contracts, agreements and M&A.
• Participate in depositions, hearings and motions practice.
• Communicate professionally with clients, opposing counsel and stakeholders.
• Work independently while collaborating with attorneys and staff.

Location

Seattle, WA. Hybrid opportunity with up to two remote workdays per week after successfully completing the initial 90-day onsite onboarding period.

• 4+ years of litigation experience is preferred.
